Los Bilingual Writers announces the release of Los Bilingual Writers Anthology Book III.
What do young writers and grandmothers have in common? Stories! Bilingual narratives of leaping into the Wii, a chapter “book” based on Lotería Cards and the account of a mother’s worse nightmare the day of the McDonald’s massacre. Her bilingual account illustrates resilience and fortitude when life stopped one deadly Wednesday afternoon.
What started as a project four years ago, Los Bilingual Writers has grown into a nonprofit organization which mentors, supports, and promotes bilingual literary writing. The Intergenerational Writing Program has guided over 250 bilingual young writers in underserved communities and publishes stories of elders of San Diego, CA.
