Writers are the memory of society, but they are also the imagination of a society.  That's why writing is one of the best things that can serve our fellow man."  Octavio Paz, Nobel Prize for Literature

The mission of Los Bilingual Writers is to promote and nourish literary cultures.
 We all have a story.

Young writers who hear the muse early in their lives and take pencil to paper.  Elders whose history is ours, and deserve honor.  Individuals who shape stronger communities and writers, regardless of language, are driven to write.

We all have something to share to remind us of our commonalities.

Los Bilingual Writers exist to be a venue.

Los Bilingual Writers mentors storytellers of the future, preserves a record of the past and promotes the literary present to strengthen cultural communities and honor linguistic origins.

Our non-profit organization is funded by donations and the generous support of our sponsors. Help us continue our important programs to underserved communites. Make a contribution today!  Thank you.
