OUR MISSION
The mission of Los Bilingual Writers is to mentor, support, and promote bilingual literary writing and foster a literary bilingual community.

 

Remember those lyrics you whispered in your beloved’s ear, that movie that was
Wow! And the book that changed your life?

Writers did that.

          And if that writing has to write the tender m’ijo, the exuberant ¡orale! or the respectful Usted, 
           it cannot be denied. Because the best writing comes from the heart and that heart has two 
           voices, your mother tongue.

Esa voz needs to be encouraged, nurtured, supported, promoted. All bilingual voices need
to be heard

And then, honored. 

Los Bilingual Writers invites all those who love to write, those who do not know they know how to write and those that want to, but need guidance in the craft of writing.  Our commitment is to provide a nurturing environment and support the efforts of all writers.
